Joanne Hutchins

A native New Yorker, Joanne was raised in Forest Hills, Queens and graduated St. John’s University with a B.S. in Communication Arts. She began her sales career at ABC Television working in the commercial spot sales department for the owned and operated television stations on the West coast.

After getting married, moving to Long Island, raising her two children and obtaining her black belt in karate, Joanne founded a 501(c)3 charity called Moms Who Kick, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The charity produced six fundraising calendars which featured women who were affected by cancer. Funds raised were donated to local area hospital’s research initiatives.

Joanne’s competitive edge led her into the ring as an amateur boxer for another local Long Island charity, raising funds for individuals on Long Island who needed help following unexpected life-changing challenges.

With the desire to continue helping others, Joanne entered the real estate world.
