The city's location balances seclusion with access. The Sawgrass Expressway runs along its western edge, connecting to Coral Springs, Boca Raton, and the broader region, while Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport lies within about a half-hour drive. Commercial development is intentionally limited, so residents rely on neighboring cities for major shopping and dining.
